One player sees the word; the others have only one weapon: two options at a time. ‘Tea or coffee?’ — they choose the one that comes closest, and the duel starts all over again, over and over, until the group hits the word spot on. A terribly frustrating semantic funnel.

Two options. Neither is a good one. And there’s no way to dodge the issue: you choose, then you have to justify your choice in front of everyone. No score, no winner – just a group of people who find out who you really are when there’s no way out.

Guess the word
You pick a word that nobody else can see, and you have to get the others at the table to guess it. A maximum of three clues – not one more. The fewer clues you give, the better you are; but one poorly chosen clue and you’ll waste your turn for nothing.
